Privacy notice

Overview

aare.finance (this website) is a marketing and information site for the aare DeFi lending protocol. We collect minimal data and do not use advertising, fingerprinting, session recording, or wallet-address tracking.

This notice explains what data is collected, why, and how to opt out.

Hosting

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes server logs (IP addresses, request headers) as a necessary part of serving the site. Cloudflare's Customer DPA covers EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Module 2) and the UK IDTA (B1.0), satisfying international transfer requirements.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics — a privacy-first, EU-hosted analytics service — via Google Tag Manager. Analytics are loaded only after you accept the consent banner. No analytics run pre-consent.

Plausible does not use cookies, does not fingerprint browsers, and does not share data with advertising networks. Metrics collected: page URL, referrer (domain only), device type, country (inferred from IP, not stored), and session duration. No individual-level user tracking.

Google Tag Manager

We use Google Tag Manager (container GTM-T4TXPTJR) solely to load Plausible Analytics. GTM itself sets no cookies and collects no data. The GTM script is not loaded until you accept the consent banner.

No advertising tags, no remarketing pixels, no session-recording tools, and no third-party analytics (other than Plausible) are loaded via GTM.

Your rights

You can change or withdraw your analytics consent at any time using the Cookie preferences link in the footer. Withdrawing consent stops future analytics data collection. As Plausible stores no personal data, there is no individual-level data to delete.
